One of the most common questions we hear from nationwide customers is: "Can I really ship my wedding bouquet?" Absolutely yes, with the right packing and an overnight label, your flowers can travel across the country to our little studio in Indiana and arrive in beautiful condition.
Fresh flowers begin aging the moment they leave water. Speed and cool, stable packing are the two things that matter most. The rest of this guide walks through the exact materials, the exact steps, and the timing that gives your bouquet the best chance.
The packing kit
A short list, you likely have most of it already in your kitchen or garage.
- 01
A sturdy corrugated box
Sized close to your bouquet. No envelopes, no soft mailers.
- 02
Damp paper towels
Barely damp, enough to hydrate stems, but not soak the box.
- 03
Plastic wrap + rubber band
Seal the damp towel around the stem ends.
- 04
Tissue or packing paper
Loose padding, not stuffing. Airflow matters.
- 05
Ice pack (summer only)
Wrapped in paper towel, next to stems. (Never touching the blooms.)
- 06
A note with your details
Full name, event date, phone, and any special requests.
From event to arrival
01
Unpack carefully
Remove any trickets you'd like to keep, but keep the bouquet's shape intact. No need to trim wilting stems, just pack and ship quickly.
02
Hydrate the stems
Wrap the bottom few inches of the stems in damp paper towels, cover with plastic wrap, and secure with a rubber band.
03
Pad and box
Nestle the bouquet in the box and loosely fill gaps with tissue. You want it snug, not crushed. Slip your details inside the box.
04
Ship overnight

Shipping FAQ
- Can I ship flowers from anywhere in the country?
- Yes. We work with brides and families nationwide. As long as your flowers are packed and shipped overnight, they can arrive in excellent condition from almost any state.
- What if my wedding is on a Saturday?
- Ship Monday or Tuesday if possible. Many overnight carriers do not deliver on Sunday, and Saturday delivery often costs more. If timing is tight, contact us and we'll coordinate the best drop-off or delivery plan.
- How fresh do the flowers need to be?
- The sooner you ship, the better the color and shape. We recommend getting flowers to us within 1–2 days of your event. After day three, delicate blooms may brown or lose petals.
- Do I need to refrigerate the bouquet before shipping?
- A cool, dark spot is ideal, but do not put the bouquet in a standard refrigerator. Household fridges are too cold and dry for most flowers. Ship promptly instead.
- What if I can't ship within 1–2 days?
- Reach out as soon as you can. Depending on the flower type and condition, we may still be able to work with them. Some hardy blooms dry well even after a few days.
- Should I include a note in the box?
- Yes. Include your full name, event date, phone number, and any special requests. This helps us match your flowers to your order the moment they arrive.
